Hello kiddies! It’s been a rollercoaster of a few weeks, but I’m so excited to blog these images. My favorite hairsylist, Janae, of Janae Smith Studio needed some professional headshots for her webpage and so we had a little mini session a couple of weeks ago. I love her. Seriously. She is Miss Fierce and rocked her session. I absolutely LOVE the way her images turned out.

This blog post is near and dear to my heart. Confession, I know this family and I know them well and I love them!! After seeing their pictures, you’re going to love them too! So, I might be biased when I say, little Giovanni might be the most fun and expressive little baby I’ve ever had the opportunity to photograph, but I think the pictures will speak for themselves haha. He is every bit as goofy as his parents and just a fun-loving little guy! And please, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t get ANY cuter than this!!

10 years together! Yep, 10 whole years, woohoo! That’s the reason behind this femme sexy session. Monique wanted to surprise her hubby with something special to commemorate their time together and I couldn’t love her choice more! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…these are my all time favorite sessions to shoot! So fun, flirty and empowering! Hot hot stuff I tell you. You might remember these two love birds from their engagement session that they seriously rocked. Well, this fun-loving, beautiful and so in love couple tied the knot on one of the most popular dates of the year, 9-10-11.  In front of their extremely close knit group of friends and family, they exchanged vows and made their love official. It was SO beautiful and there was so much love in the air that day. These two are incredibly cherished and loved and it was shown during the reception with the emotional speeches given by their wedding party, family and friends. I teared up several times. These two make me fall in love with love all over again. Swoon. AND if that weren’t enough, boy does this family know how to throw a party!! Both sides of the family and all their friends made this night so memorable and really let loose to celebrate the love between Danyka and JD. How very special! By the end of the night, I felt like I was part of the family too and would have loved to rock the night away with all of them into the wee hours of the morning!

Congratulations Danyka and JD! I wish you all the best and may your love continue to inspire all those around you and may you have many many years of complete and utter bliss and happiness. You two deserve it!! Lots of love you newlyweds!!!

Woohoo!!! It’s finally here! I have been DYING to blog this session for weeks. OMG this was one of my most favorite sessions to date. Why you ask?? Not only did I get to team up with (yet again) Janae of Janae Smith Studio but I got to play with 11 girls all dressed up in wedding gowns! Give me this ANY DAY!! There’s nothing like a straight up girls day that includes hair by Janae herself, professional make-up and nails. Then, what do you do after you’ve gotten all beautified?? Go run around in the 100 degree heat in Folsom and take pictures, of course! Ha!

Okay, so the real purpose of this session wasn’t so yours truly could have fun playing (although I had tons of fun!) it was to showcase bridal looks for Janae’s portfolio. She did an awesome job organzing the whole session and styling each and every girl.  And we litterally shot all day…right until the sun went down! We used every last bit of natural light and these girls were troopers I tell you. They were so fun and really rocked it in front of my camera…on top of it being a sweltering hot day.

A couple of weekends ago I had the extreme pleasure of photographing this adorable little family and I was smitten the moment baby Adam opened his eyes at me! He really knows how to work those eyes and my oh my he’s already a heart breaker!

I’ll admit we had a mini melt down at the beginning of the session, but a few cuddles from Mom and a croissant did the trick and he was all smiles again! Woo!

We spent a Saturday morning enjoying the beautiful light in Old Folsom and playing with blocks and toy bunnies and books. We had such a blast!!

Mom and Dad were pretty cute themselves and it was so fun to see them dote on Adam and how much Adam loves them both. This has seriously got to be one of the cutest families I’ve ever had the honor of photographing!
