I’ve been dying for this blog post now for days…days I tell you! Okay, first of all, you know how sometimes when you meet someone there is just this natural spark between you? Like an instant chemistry and you know pretty much immediately that this person is awesome? Well that’s how it was with Laura. After weeks of planning and chatting on the phone and emailing about her session I finally got to meet her the day of her shoot and I knew instantly that Laura was amazing and we were going to get along famously! And oh boy was I right! I had so much fun shooting this session. In no time at all we were laughing and chatting like old girlfriends and she was rocking my camera like nobody’s business! This is why I LOVE my job. For reals. I say it a lot but I seriously mean it…I get the BEST clients and they make me fall in love with photography all over again. Ahhh, sigh.

Anyhooo…Laura wanted to do a femme sexy session but she wanted something a little different. She wanted mostly outdoors and she wanted them to reflect more of who she is as a woman and also get a little fun and flirty. Seriously a girl after my own heart. I love it when I get clients who want to push themselves outside the box. Love. Something a little different? Yes PLEASE!!

I have about 12 thousand favorites from Laura’s shoot and I realize that you probably don’t want to sift through all of them (or do you??), so I’ve painstakingly selected a few of my favorites (and by a few I mean only 10 thousand. You’re welcome.) for you to enjoy!

Oh and did I mention that she rides a motorcycle?!?! Oh yeah, she is so bad ass like that! I’m pretty sure I’m older than Laura…but I still want to be like her when I grow up! ♥

Alright, time to get back on track with my blogging…sorry for the brief hiatus, but what a way to come back — with an amazingly gorgeous femme sexy shoot for M, no?! Unlike a lot of my clients, who are referrals, M found me from a simple internet search and for some reason that fills me with absolute delight! Giddy delight. Delight like Christmas morning delight. Delight, delight. Okay you got it. Delight. She actually contacted me this past summer and booked her session way in advance for October. I LOVE a girl who plans…right up my alley I tell ya!

M is getting married next year and wanted to make a very special gift for her husband to be…and let me tell you she’s going to knock his socks off! Here are just a few of my favorites…

This little kitten needs no introduction. Remember her from here? She rocked it that day in the rain and she did it again and brought her femme sexy this time! Pamela is getting married in a few weeks to her sweetie and wanted to surprise him with something special on their wedding day. She opted for boudoir pictures and let me tell you, after he sees these he is going to need some resuscitation! Luckily for him, Pamela just finished Physician’s Assistant school so she can help him out with that! It’s all about being a team, no?

My camera truly loves Pamela and between all the champagne and giggles one gorgeous Sunday afternoon, we shot hundreds of pictures without even realizing it. We had a blast! And did I mention that it is impossible for this little lady to take a bad picture? I’m serious — it just ain’t gonna happen! She.Rocked.It.Out.

Pamela, congratulations on your upcoming nuptials and thank you for “binging it” for your femme sexy session! I just know your hubby-to-be is going to die when he gets his hands on these! I wish you all the best in life, love and happiness! XOXO

Ly came to me after she saw some pictures I had shot for her beautiful friend. She wanted to update her modeling portfolio with a more contemporary look that also had a beautiful vintage-y feel. Make sense? Modern, but vintage. Yep. Beautiful. Is it getting ridiculous yet? Beautiful.

We could not have chosen a more beautiful (okay that one was necessary) day up in North Lake Tahoe. It was a clear, sunny and yes…beautiful day with mounds of snow everywhere! Ly was ready to work it! We shot for almost an entire day, only stopping briefly to restore energy at lunch time. As a model, she really was up for anything…bikini in the snow? Check. Lay down on snowy steps in a bikini? Check. Walk around Northstar resort in teeny shorts and heels while people stare and look at us like we’re crazy? Check, check, check! You are amazing Ly! I hope you love your images as much as I do!

Did I mention that Ly has a beautiful 16 month old daughter as well? Oh lordy, if only all women were that lucky! Ly, it was such a pleasure to work with you and I had a blast that beautiful day up in Tahoe! Kiss that baby girl for me!

I couldn’t have said it better myself! And we had a ridiculously good time shooting Michelle’s femme sexy. Champagne was flowing along with the tunes and before I knew it, Michelle was channeling a little Marilyn herself! You’ll see what I mean. Have I mentioned Michelle has eyes like woah? They’re ridiculously pretty. I was obsessed with them. Michelle, it was fantastic working with you and I want to grow up and be as sexy as you! Girl, I think my camera lens is still foggy!
