This blog post is near and dear to my heart. Confession, I know this family and I know them well and I love them!! After seeing their pictures, you’re going to love them too! So, I might be biased when I say, little Giovanni might be the most fun and expressive little baby I’ve ever had the opportunity to photograph, but I think the pictures will speak for themselves haha. He is every bit as goofy as his parents and just a fun-loving little guy! And please, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t get ANY cuter than this!!

A couple of weekends ago I had the extreme pleasure of photographing this adorable little family and I was smitten the moment baby Adam opened his eyes at me! He really knows how to work those eyes and my oh my he’s already a heart breaker!

I’ll admit we had a mini melt down at the beginning of the session, but a few cuddles from Mom and a croissant did the trick and he was all smiles again! Woo!

We spent a Saturday morning enjoying the beautiful light in Old Folsom and playing with blocks and toy bunnies and books. We had such a blast!!

Mom and Dad were pretty cute themselves and it was so fun to see them dote on Adam and how much Adam loves them both. This has seriously got to be one of the cutest families I’ve ever had the honor of photographing!

Are you kidding me with this face?!?!

A sweet, sweet boy and his family are coming very soon…stay tuned!!

This has got to be one of the cutest families I’ve ever had the joy of photographing. I was so smitten with them immediately! Rebecca, Nate and Archer were my contest winners back when I had the big reveal and launched my new website! And I’m so lucky they entered and won, because we had so much fun one Saturday morning! They chose to have a family session at their family’s property in Ojai and It.Was.Insanely.Gorgeous. I almost moved in. True story. I was ready to pitch a tent and stay…and if you know me, I don’t camp. But I would live forever in a tent here! But I digress… Rebecca and Nate’s son, Archer (awesome name, no??) is truly the light of their lives and you can see it in every moment you spend with this family. He brings so much joy and love with just a look and a smile! What impressed me the most about these two is that they took every moment to teach little Archer about the world around him. Everything was a lesson and an opportunity to help him explore and fill his curiosity! It was such a joy and so heartwarming to see.

Psst…how insanely adorable is this little guy?! Family shoot coming soon, stay tuned!

This little family is so very near and dear to my heart. I photographed Ly about 7 months ago as she was expanding her portfolio as a model and fell in love with her and her adorable family. Well as life is a continuous adventure and full of surprises, shortly thereafter, Ly found out she was pregnant with her second child!! Yay! What a blessing. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity and the extreme pleasure of doing a fall family shoot AND a maternity shoot for this wonderful family. This is such a gorgeous and adorable family that I’ve decided to break them into two posts!! Check out their family shoot below done at the Sacramento Zoo and stay tuned for their lovely and ethereal maternity session next!! ♥

Perfection. Love. Free. Warmth. Love. Fun. Animated. Love. Did I mention Love? Okay, just making sure. Seriously, is this not the cutest family you’ve ever laid eyes on? I had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours on Father’s Day with these cutie pies and I couldn’t get enough.

The kids were so much fun! Lukas had my heart from the beginning when he helped me scout out great locations for different shots. I should maybe hire him. And Liv is captivating. She is such a free spirit and I learned so much that morning looking at the world through her eyes.

But the real love story is between Jeff and Annika. They are the epitome of yin and yang. You can’t have one without the other. They are magnets. I was in awe of the love that is so obvious between the two of these kids at heart! And to watch them enjoying their most crowning achievements, their children, almost brought tears to my eyes! Basically, I’m hoping this family will adopt me…please?

I’m warning you now, this is a long post…I couldn’t narrow down my favorites. Enjoy!

Introducing the newest little princess, Elliana Vivienne. There are no words to describe this angel. She literally melts hearts. Literally. Mine has not been the same since I laid eyes on her. I’m hooked. Completely. She is perfection I tell you! I had the honor of meeting this sweet angel on her two week birthday and let me tell you it was hard giving her back to mama! Take a look for yourself and tell me you wouldn’t try to take her home with you… And how gorgeous is Mom?? She is just absolutely glowing….ahhh.

Sweet Princess Elliana Vivienne was born to proud parents Danielle and Mike on March 12, 2010 weighing in at 6lbs and 4oz. Congratulations to the family! And Elliana, the world is your oyster, sweetie. You can be anything, do anything, accomplish anything and conquer anything you set your mind to! ANYTHING. Remember that.
